Shadows
We took the aluminium metal that we used at NOMA and used different lighting to manipulate shadows.

The aluminium metal.

Drawing the outline of the metal.
Inspiration from shadows
We then used ink rollers as well as other tools to create a different media.

Using my slip cast tool to draw some shadow lines.

Using the different colour of the slip cast.

Added some paint that was in the same shape as the metal.

I placed the paper over the metal to roll over it with a roller and ink.
Using words linking to NOMA and folds.
We used words that linked to NOMA to help us move forward. 'Decisive' and 'Plain' were the two words that I chose. I was decisive when I drew my lines and I created a plain to work within.

Decisive and plain. I cut it and and cut of two more exact copies and made a fan.

Making the shape using folds.

Cutting out a design, similar to the fan, that can be thrown.

Two of the fold pieces linked together.

The fold pieces linked together creates shadows that look similar to the northern lights.

Folding the paper to try and find something that I like.
